LBVIA and LBV Water Services, Inc. provide water shutoff services for property owners and residents.  Water shutoffs can be scheduled through the LBV office during normal business hours, or requested through the Emergency Water Services line when an immediate response is necessary. 
 
If you contact the LBV office during normal business hours and schedule a water shutoff in advance, there is no charge for this service. 
 
If a water shutoff is requested as an unscheduled emergency and has not been arranged through the LBV office, or if the Emergency Water Services phone number is used, service fees will apply as follows: 
 
  • $50 - Emergency shutoff requested during the water operator's regular working hours. 
  • $100 - Emergency shutoff requested outside of the water operator's regular working hours. 
These fees help cover the operational costs associated with responding to unscheduled or urgent service requests.  This includes, but is not limited to, dispatching a water operator on short notice, travel time to the property, use of equipment, administrative processing to the service call, and any overtime or after-hours labor required to respond to the request. 
 
Scheduling water shutoffs through the LBV office during normal business hours allows staff to coordinate service efficiently and avoid unnecessary emergency dispatch costs.  
 
By requesting emergency water shutoff service, you acknowledge and agree to the applicable fees listed above.
